Spring has sprung in the Sonoran Desert of southern Arizona and it reminds me that life potential lies dormant in the seeds of nature. That's what this fractal art piece is about. The center reminds me of cell division. The colors represent life energy, and the outward movement beyond the black field of nothingness represents the emergence of life in the world. The potential has always been there, deep within. The conditions just had to be right for the potential to flow into expression. Every spring nature demonstrates this to us, and every spring I marvel at the brilliant system that brings forth new life from what appeared dead.
Wishing you all the beauty and promise of Spring!

Spring is my favorite time of the year too, Jacqueline. Nature is bursting with newness! It lets me know that no matter how cold, dead, or empty a situation feels, change is inevitable. "The new" will soon spring forth. Loved the post and the fractal art you've shared here. Beautiful expressions.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Deone. Spring feels more like the beginning of the year to me than January 1st. Cycles begin again and there's a freshness to the world.
