Zig Zag Sonoran Sunset

Welcome to my neighborhood! This isn't exactly in my backyard but it's only a 10 minute walk from the house. You can see Table Top and the Casa Grande mountains on the horizon but they look much larger and closer in person. The expanse of the desert has the effect of making you feel open and free. Then the sun sets and magic happens.

The zig-zag light in the clouds made this sunset particularly interesting for me. I love the color where orange and pink blend and the dark blue and purple clouds in contrast with the light aqua blue sky. The colorful light extended far beyond the frame on both sides but I'd have to learn how to shoot panoramas to capture it all.
